The Select Accounting Period dialog lets you choose from among the accounting periods you have defined, to select one of them as the active accounting period.

Click on the Period button in the main toolbar, or select View > Select Active Accounting Period… from the main menu.

periods list

The list shows all of the accounting periods you have defined in ManagePLUS, in a grid. To select one of them as the active accounting period you can either (1) double-click it, or (2) click on it to highlight it, then click the OK button.

Opens the Add New Accounting Period dialog to let you define a new accounting period, by specifying the beginning and ending dates of the period.

Deletes the accounting period that is currently highlighted in the list.

ManagePLUS for QuickBooks arrow r Select Accounting Period dialog This does not delete any transactions and does not delete any QuickBooks data. It only deletes the “extra” information ManagePLUS maintains associated with an accounting period, like the management quantities you have entered in the Classes window (which are stored separately for each accounting period).

Using it

· You can group the accounting periods list by year, and sort it in forward or reverse order by beginning or ending date. See the Using ManagePLUS Grids topic for details.
